5 core values of Halifax Prep junior Program

The individual Goal

Turn the athletes’ weaknesses into strengths.

While basketball is a team sport, the team strengthens when the individual’s skill sets improve.

The Team Goal

Playing in a league compiled strictly of Junior Prep teams will provide optimal exposure for all players to schools such as:

Canada Top Flight Academy

Edge Prep

Team Respect

"We learned about gratitude and humility - that so many people had a hand in our success, from the teachers who inspired us to the janitors who kept our school clean... and we were taught to value everyone's contribution and treat everyone with respect."- Michelle Obama

Educational Focus

In the time that we have been in operation, not one single player that we have assisted in receiving a scholarship has had grades lower than a 75% average.

If until now you have not taken your schooling seriously, it’s not too late. You can still play on the team, everyone starts the school with 100% and loses points from there. Your grades will be monitored working together to implement plans to help you do your best, opening as many doors as possible.

Community Service

The Junior Players will  be contributing members of the community. Volunteer work is a must for all Halifax players! Any community event hosted by M7NG Company and others that does not interfere with your school or basketball schedule, you will be required to attend and participate. Halifax prep colors are black and white and the team's nickname is the ‘Sevens”.
